Christy has a love for multi-dimensional color and razor cutting. With more than 20 years of experience, she has continued to expand her knowledge by attending Aveda Congress, Pivot Point Academy, Rusk cutting and straitening training, TIGI Academy, and Crew Men’s cutting clinic.

Mitchell specializes in color. He gives a contemporary edge to multi-dimensional color weaves with his three decades of experience. He has expanded his knowledge with Pivot Point Academy and Redken, L’Oreal professional, Goldwell, Matrix, TIGI, and Aveda classes.

Kimberly has been with the Stand Salon and Spa since it opened and has more than 20 years of experience. She was introduced to Aveda products early in her career and has attended numerous cutting and coloring classes. Kim specializes in both men and ladies’ cuts.

Nikki is your short hair specialist with more than a decade of experience. She attended Abbott Beauty Academy as well as Aveda cut and color classes and Rusk cutting clinics.

Jeff has more than 20 years of experience and has traveled the globe ensuring he knows the latest styles. He has been to Vidal Salon in London and IBS in New York. Jeff continues to study the art of hair design with Redken, Sebastian, Rusk, and Aveda classes.

Pam will help get you ready for your next event. A formal styling and color expert since 2005, she attended Merrell University as well as Redken cut and color classes, Aveda color and men’s cutting and Rusk clinics.

Keely came to The Strand in JULY of 2007, having graduated from The Hair Academy 110 in Kirlsville, Missouri. She has advanced training in dimensional color and precision cuttting, in addition to extensive Aveda product knowledge.

Allison has been a stylist since 2003 after graduating form Xenon International in Omaha, Nebraska. She specializes in color and men’s styles. She has been to several American Crew men’s cutting classes as well as many Aveda cut and color seminars to ensure that you will look your best.

Kathy has been with The Strand Salon & Spa since its opening in 1997. She works as the salon coordinator and is here to help you with your scheduling needs.

Yuliya offers a relaxing spa facial which includes a shoulder, arm and hand massage while feet are wrapped in hot towels. Pore extraction is also offered if needed. This is truly more than just a facial! She also offers chemical peels, pedicures, body wraps and body waxing.

Yuliya attended cosmetology school in Moscow at Dolores Academy of Hairdressing , as well as, Cosmetology Concepts Institute in Columbia. She is trained in PCA skin care and chemical peels. Gift certificates are available for all services.

Katherine graduated in 2006 from Heritage College in K.C. with her Assoc.in Occupational Studies in THerapeutic Massage and Body Work. Followed with a National Certification.
Katherine gives a professional integrated massage to fit each individuals needs. She really enjoys her work and looks forward to meeting you.

Katherine is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofacial Release & Reflexology.
